Fall Harvest at the Demonstration Farm

Date:  Tuesday, September 29th, 5-7 PM
Location: Demonstration Farm at Bison Brae · Tescott, Kansas


Join us for an evening of learning, exploring, and seeing conservation in action at the Demonstration Farm at Bison Brae. We'll take a look at what's growing, share what we've learned throughout the season, and highlight practices being explored to support soil health, biodiversity, and resilient landscapes.


This is a free event for the whole family. We'll have kids' crafts, fall produce and books to give away, and local vendors with food and products for sale.

OCCD Board Meeting

First Tuesday of Every Month

Board meetings are open to the public and are held at 8:15 a.m. in the USDA Service Center Conference Room at 877 Laurel Street, Suite A, Minneapolis, KS, 67467.

Join the Ottawa County Conservation District for its annual meeting and an opportunity to connect with local conservation efforts.

An opportunity for local landowners, producers, partners, and community members to help identify natural resource priorities and conservation needs in Ottawa County.

Gardening for Soil Health

A spring program focused on practical ways to build healthier soil and support more productive, resilient gardens.

Annual Soil Health Field Day

A hands-on opportunity to explore soil health practices, learn from local experience, and see conservation principles at work.
